




Swelling and redness immediately after treatment can be expected. The time this takes to settle will depend on the sensitivity of the skin. A crust formation may appear after about three days. However, most people experience flaking or peeling of the skin as healing takes place. This peeling will begin generally on the third day after treatment and will last from seven to ten days, or longer if necessary. Use Bepanthen or Ungvita antiseptic cream twice dialing for three to four days, or longer if necessary. Do not touch your eyebrows with your hands immediately after treatment. Do not swim or use a spa for at least 3 days. Do not wear makeup on the treated area until completely healed. Take care when cleansing your face for the first day. Do not ever use Retin-A or Alpha Hydroxy Acid cosmetics, as these products will remove the pigment colour from your eyebrows. Do not expose to the sun, wear a sunscreen to protect your face.

You are advised to place wet cotton pads in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 mins to cool, then place over your eyes as instructed by your Technician. Flaking of the skin during the healing process will start the second to third day after treatment and be completed after five to six days. A small number of clients may experience crusting on the eyelids. Brolene ointment may be used twice daily for the first couple of days. Do not touch your eyelids with your hands immediately after treatment. Do not swim or use a spa for at least 3 days. Do not use makeup near the eye area for 2 to 3 days. Take care when cleansing your face.
REMEMBER: THE FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT IS AN IMPORTANT STEP IN THE WHOLE MICROPIGMENTATION PROCEDURE.
