I completed my basic training in Micropigmentation in 2004 with Carol Beech here in Auckland, then furthered that training with Sydney Permanent Makeup in 2006. In 2007 I travelled to America to further my training and become an internationally recognized and accredited Permanent Makeup Professional.

I attended the Las Vegas conventional of the Society of Permanent Makeup Professionals (SPCP) where I gained further accredited training by attending workshops, lectures and exams to gain my Certified Permanent Makeup Professional membership.

 

 

 

 

Here’s a little about my background and what led me into specialising in permanent cosmetics.

As a trained Beauty Therapist, I took time out to raise my family.  When I found myself in a position to re-enter the beauty industry, I wanted to specialise in eyebrows and eyeline treatments because I have a special talent in that area.

Before I embarked on this training I thought I had better try it out for myself, and had Micropigmented eyeliner done. I loved it. I was sold!

This permanent cosmetic enhancement is a wonderful treatment.  The momentary and minimal discomfort was nothing compared to the long-term benefit of not having to worry about eye makeup when I went swimming or had just woken up in the morning. Of course I still love applying glamourous makeup when I’m going out for the evening but the Micropigmentation means that I feel more glamorous even without any makeup on.
